Refund policy

We want you to be happy with your gear. If something is not right, we are here to help.

 

60-day returns

You have 60 days from the delivery date to request a return, for any reason. The item needs to come back in usable condition with its packaging. Field use is expected and fine, we are not going to argue about a bit of creek water. To start a return, email hello@modernminingsupplies.com with your order number.

 

Who pays return shipping

If you are returning something because you changed your mind, return postage is on you. If the item arrived damaged or defective, or we sent the wrong thing, we pay, and we will send you a prepaid label.

 

No restocking fee

Ever.

 

How refunds are issued

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will email you either way. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method within 7 business days of us receiving the item. We do not issue store credit in place of a refund.

 

Original shipping costs

If you paid for shipping, that charge is not refunded on a change-of-mind return. If the return is our fault, you get everything back.

 

Damaged or wrong items

Email us within 30 days of delivery with a photo and your order number and we will make it right. In most cases you will not need to send anything back.

 

Cancelling an order

Email us before it ships and we will cancel it and refund you in full. If we cannot ship your order in the time we promised, we will contact you with a new date and you can either accept it or cancel for a full refund. Refunds on cancelled orders are issued within 7 working days.
