Gold Panning Magnet
Magic Mag
The full size mag. Sweep it across your pan and the black sand lifts out in a single pass, so your color is sitting there in plain sight instead of buried under magnetite.
The magnet sits in one side of the base. When the sand has piled up, slide it off with your thumb and the whole load drops exactly where you want it. No shaking, no scraping, no rubbing.
At 2.25 inches it fills your hand and carries a little more surface area than the Pocket Mag, so it holds a bit more black sand before you stop to dump it. Sealed in UV stable epoxy resin, so it goes in the creek with you and wipes clean when you are done. Built for hard outdoor use, not for a shelf.

Built for the creek
Black sand is heavy, and it settles right on top of your gold. Most of it is magnetic, so a strong sealed magnet sweeps it out of the pan in seconds. Slide it off with your thumb, give it a quick final pan, and get back to work.
